First things first. Here's my breakfast..hee wan ton noodles. The wan tons are good everywhere but the noodles are always quite strange..
Stopping by TST to pick up my cousin, here's Chungking Mansion, lots of hostels here but rather dodgy.
We took the MTR to Tung Chung, change at the Hongkong Station if I recall correctly. Be prepared to walk a long way when changing lines, but the HK MTR is really quite amazing. Very organized and futuristic! The journey took about 45 mins, will pass by the Disneyland station at Sunny Bay.
After reaching Tung Chung, we exited the station and followed the signboards to the Npong Ping cable car. This is the view from the cable car station,
and the fares. Cost us about HKD 88 for a 30 minutes ride. I prefer it to taking bus! But it's a pity it closed for now due to the accident, so may have to take a bus instead now.
Here's the bus terminal at Tung Chung. Can take a bus from here to the big buddha.

Venturing further ahead, the big buddha finally, one of my favourite places in HK. 
Very serene and the air is a lot fresher here. I think should go in the morning, when the sunlight is in the correct direction. In the afternoon, the sun is behind the buddha and his face is less clearly seen.

Coming down, we had lunch at the touristy village. Here's our lunch from one of the cheaper food stalls we can find. Minced pork noodles and pork ball noodles!
And honeymoon desserts to cool down in the hot weather. Clockwise: Almond dessert, watermelon sago, watermelon and grass jelly, banana puffs in the centre!
Back to Tung Chung and window shopping at factory outlets there. There is esprit, adidas and many other brands which I can't really remember.
The MTR and to causeway bay for dinner! And more shopping at Mongkok!

Hey! The Wonton really looks good. Hehe thanks for ur photos. Were u blessed by the Big Buddha? Argh I cant wait to try those wonton!!!
I think we are going Disneyland! Anyway, where did u two do most of your shopping??
